fished the big thompson today from 9am till about 2pm today.  nice day after some pretty cold weather.  bad enough i cancled my green river trip for this weekend, but will be going in a few weeks.  the wife felt bad for me so she agreed to letting me get my fishing fix even on easter sunday.  this nice bow was 25" perhaps a bit longer.  on a rs-2 and a pheasant tail nymphing.
the river is loaded with fish, a little spooky especially on a bright day, but loaded.

Nice fish! perhaps the biggest ive seen in awhile...dont tell me you caught that in the Big T!

That's a strange looking rainbow. It is pretty but has odd colorations. It is a great fish though, and by the sounds of it a trophy out of this river! W2G!!!
