Fished the Big T yesterday. Despite the over all run off conditions just about everywhere else- The Big T above Drake is running at about 120 CFS.
Water Temp: Mid 50's
Water Color: Moderately clouded.
Hatches: Baetis pretty much all day some caddis, occassional stone fly, lots of midges
Fish holding spots: all the usual holding spots, seams and behind rocks, bigger fish holding down low in deeper spots. Some surface activity, mostly hitting emergers and fish targeting bigger bite flies. Caught 20% of my fish on the swing with the emerger.
Flies that worked: Silver bead headed Baetis Emerger size 16, Flash Back PT Size 14, Golden Stone fly patterns.
