I have been catching perch, eyes, and trout packed full of blood worms (midge larvae). Just thought it was pretty neat and worth a share. Seems the fish are finding food in the deep oxygen deprived areas of the lake. The bro's blood worm jigs have been working well for me, now I know why. Made me re-think my walleye approach. The fish that will not hit my standard jigging spoon/rap will take the blood worm imitation...

Northland makes them. Just search bro's bloodworm. Have been using the red ones for years and they really seem to be the best jig in my box.
