Hitting up Blue Mesa for the first time in probably 20 + years over Memorial Day weekend.

I would sure appreciate any advice folks might offer to get into a few fish. Will be taking the boat.

Also, how bad is traffic going to be on 285 on the way home? Would I be better off heading over to I25, and coming back towards Denver that way?

It's a Kokanee lake, troll with Kokanee kings, dick nights, little arnies, Rainbow needlefish or popgear and worm. Don't forget the shoepeg corn, lead line or downriggers 15'-30'. kill and can or smoke Salmon. Multiple limits are standard procedures there.
