Drove past Blue last week just before Christmas. Stopped to talk to the folks as I had not ice gear with me on that trip. Ice was out about 40-50 yards past the Lake City bridge. Only a few were fishing past the bridge (within 25 feet of the bridge). Others were fishing east of the bridge in about 12 inches of ice in 18 feet of water. Browns and perrch were being caught at a pretty good clip early in the morning but slowed as the day went on apparently.
Blue Mesa update
Anyone have any updated info for Blue Mesa? How far West is the ice? Any info would be cool

Very good. That's kinda what I expected. I assume it's moving West at a pretty good rate. I plan on getting over there fairly soon. I'll be out there on the 7th, not sure where we're fishing. These cold temps should open up a lot more of the lake!
