not much of a fishing report. more of a lake report. had a couple hours before the kid had a baseball game, so we drove to the blue! we were looking for decent shore fishing but didn't find much. a lot of tumbleweeds all along the shore line. tough for the kiddos. continued to get snagged up. we did manage 2. one small bow on a blue/white kast master and the other was a nice 18"-20" brown. he was caught with a piece of sucker on the bottom. fished with a circle hook, both were released unharmed. lake looks to be filling well, but still low. i'd guess 15' or so. maybe more. clear skies, and almost a windless day. hot in fact at times! good luck out there!

Try 2 jack Russells, they go in the lake when you cast, jump off the boat after fish, jump off the boat just because. Swim out and retrieve bobbers. Kill fish when the fish are brought into the boat. royal pain.

Similar scenario, but MOOSE weighs 95 pounds. His main redeeming quality is that he is becoming a great hunting dog.
