Not much of a brag report, rather just some info. I took the boys out today for a couple hours. Got on the ice around 1:00 or so. The lake had open water from the dam to Elk marina. I didn't go down to the marina but could see a cap. I saw some folks on the ice in the 2 areas past Elk marina. (not sure of the names) We fished in the inlet area in about 30'. It was a bit deep for my taste, but we did hit a nice Brown right off the bottom. We missed two others in the 2 hours we fished. The ice was a plenty at 12" or so. Cold as **** no better than 0*. The fish were hitting PB on little jigs. On our way home, we could see the ice growing. There was some ice in the Bay of Chickens.

I was there New years eve. We caught plenty of fish near the bridge. Lots of ice has not had anyone on it. Only one perch but did catch many nice fish and a few slimers. and a road kill deer on the way there.
