I have been trying for 3 hours to get info. on boat inspection from CDOW and all I have gotten is the run around. QUESTION: I had my boat inspected and sealed when I left Carter last year. I want to go out early to Jackson can I leave my seal and papers and launch or do I have to wait until inspector shows up? The office at Jackson's phone is not working and the DOW number I was given has been busy forever! Thank you for your help.

If there is a drop box at Jackson, for the seal, and log to enter when you launch. Should be good to go unless the ramp has a closed/locked gate. Your receipt and seal is a State parks seal ?

Carter isnt a state park...I know when I take a sealed boat from atown to creek they usually inspect it...you near creek or chatty where you could run and get it inspected?...

This makes it sound like a green seal is good anywhere but then they say a seal has to be inspected...

Make sure if you have a Pueblo seal that you have no water left at all in your motor or livewell!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to lower my big motor before launching at Cherry Creek and they made me take my boat thru decontamination! I guess Pueblo is red flagged because they found a few Quagga Mussle fry or whatever the hell they call them.

Which is funny because I would like to decontaminate my boat after being at CC.

Well Jackson won again I didn't even get a strike. Fished from 5:30AM until 10:00 and tried all of our walleye lures....not even a slimer, carp or spare tire.
