Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and hope this is an okay area to post this question. I love fishing and I am on a tight budget so all I have boatwise is a small inflatable. I like going to Aurora Res because they have a nice sandy launch area that I can set up my boat and launch from without tying up the boat ramp.

I was wondering what other lakes on the Front Range have something similar so I don't have to get in the way of the bigger boats? I am hesitant to pay the money to enter Cherry Creek or Chatfield just to find that I will be a pain in the ass to other boaters.

I used to have a real boat, but this is what I have now.

Also, what is everyone using this time of year to get bass?

Thanks Brian

Welcome Brian. You can launch that way at Chatfield, but at Bear Creek Lake for some reason you have to use the boat ramp.

I like going after bass trout and gills. Never tried for wallies or anything else.
Your looking at the right spots... A-town, chatty, and c creek have all 3 species... so does bear creek lake... Bear creek is a lot more small boat friendly since they have motor restrictions(10hp or less.).

Ha thanks, I actually didn't know Bear Creek even existed. I am in Parker, so I like to find closer spots, but will have to check out Bear Creek.
