I was thinking about getting my boat out to do some SD fishing but I need to get my boat registration renewed. The notice says that they are unable to do it over the phone or online and the website says the doors at the service centers will be locked to the public. Does anyone know if they are processing mail in renewals and how long it takes?

Adam, should be able to do online if you are a returning customer but the site has been having problems lately with the shut downs. The site says if you have problems to call between M-F 8am-5pm. 303-297-1192

Good Luck!

Thanks Pikester, I’ll give them a call, but the paper notice says that “renewals over the phone or online are not supported at this time.”
Maybe they figured out a way to do it over the phone or electronically with the current situation.

Thanks Slayer, it worked!
I wonder why they would send out a renewal notice telling people not to do it in the way that is the most convenient and profitable for both parties, especially when they have already set it up.

Did you ever get your sticker? I’m thinking they’ll let you go on the water if you show a copy of your paperwork.

You do not need your sticker. I renewed at least 2 months ago, and have not received my stickers. As long as you have the green paper (with the ANS tag) you are good to go.
