We went to Bonny looking for catfish. We went around to the north shore near North Cove campground. We were next to the boat ramp but the water was so far down we had to walk a half mile. We fished a point with shrimp and leeches on the advice of the rangers. A little after dark the fish started biting. We had 7 cats in the
1-3 pound range and a 5 pounder that fought well. They were the first decent catfish we have gotten into in Colarado so it was fun.

Cool! Good job with the Cats, never have caught one that big myself. It's nice to see that Colorado fishing is still what it used to be. Thanks for the tips about the leeches and shrimp, I'll have to try that! :)

I didn't get anything on leeches. Everything was on shrimp. It was a lot of fun getting decent catfish in Colorado.
