I have lived in Colorado all my life and have lived and fished in Northern Colorado since the late 80's, but I have only fished Boulder Res. once off the bank way back in the early 90's. I am thinking about making a run down there next week and dump the boat to sample the walleye population. I was left more confussed after talking with a lady in the Boulder Parks Department and what I have gathered is that as long as the gate is open then you can access the lake and not have to pay until their season starts. One question I have is can they just show up and close the gate and are there set hours like sunrise to sunset? I dont what to drag the boat down there from Greeley to find a closed gate. Thanks in advance, Collie
