The wife and I went with the kids(20 year olds) to the inlet at Boyd from about 5:00 till dark last night. All togther we pulled 1 14" trout, a nice perch, and a nice blugill. Had several more bites. They were hitting on worms and rainbow powerbait. Also tossed out my cat rod and had a good fighting fish that bent the cat pole pretty good. Never got it to shore. I'm thinking it was a large trout or more likly a new state record wiper. At least that is what my dream was about last night!!!!

...I dont think there is a trout in the state that fights like a wiper that would weigh 27 or 28 pounds...

We also fished Boyd Friday morning, 10-1. Caught 6 trout ( all between 16-20) 1 white bass, and an 18.5 in walleye. All fish were caught jiggin in the wind ;). Southside and east along the houses, mainly 12-14ft water.
