Heard someone got struck by lightning out at Boyd this past weekend. Were any of you there? Man that would rip you a new one, litteraly! I've been on the water before with a good storm rolling in and the eylets of my rod start buzzing, scarry. I'm actually suprised it doesn't happen more often.

Hey ashanhia-

My thoughts are certainly with your friend's family.

What exactly happened?? Did they get flipped by a huge wind gust? Capsized by unexpected big waves?

I've seen very vague and inconsistent versions of this accident. Thanks.
