Heard someone got struck by lightning out at Boyd this past weekend. Were any of you there? Man that would rip you a new one, litteraly! I've been on the water before with a good storm rolling in and the eylets of my rod start buzzing, scarry. I'm actually suprised it doesn't happen more often.

Goodness me, oh my! My thoughts and prayers are with those who perished. Life is too short to take it for granted, get out there and fish!

I'm a Denver fire fighter, the two people that died where the relative of one of my co-workers, he's a good guy, our prayers go out to his family.

Hey ashanhia-

My thoughts are certainly with your friend's family.

What exactly happened?? Did they get flipped by a huge wind gust? Capsized by unexpected big waves?

I've seen very vague and inconsistent versions of this accident. Thanks.
