Stopped at Boyd this morning on my way somewhere else. I cast out a thermometer and measured 46 degrees at the 20 ft. level; 43 degrees at the shoreline. Still too cold for any real action. Half a dozen shore fishermen at the northwest end. One lady did catch about an 8 inch trout while I was there. A little girl with her ran around screaming, "Grandma caught a fish!" I sure do approve of starting the kids out early, give 'em some training and good memories.

Neighbor was out on staurday, fishing from shore. Some guy next to him caught a Eye, 8 1/2 #, spawning female. He gave it to someone else  ??? Also heard of a 12 # being caught. The bows fishing has been excellent. All males lately.
Good fishn, Matt

Were they fishing in the marina area off the rocks? The ranger told me of the 12lber. caught there a couple of weeks ago.
