Fished Boyd this morning until about noon. Caught 12 rainbows trolling in 15 to 25 ft. on shad rap rapallas. Lake is at full capacity caught all fish on the South West end of the lake from the swim beach to the pump house. Nothing big but tons of fun!!!!!

Hi all,

Glad to be joining a fishing forum for Coloradoans!

I heard that the ramps at Boyd are also open -- is that true?

Thanks,

OK, thanks.

Man, I love that online boat registration thingy that the DOW has! A few minutes and I am ready to get out on the water with a temporary permit...

I hit Boyd today at 1:00pm. Water temp was 45 degrees, winds 5-10mph. Started out slow, caught the first rainbow on a trolled spinner in about 15 ft of water. Things started to heat up around 2:30. Landed 4 between my buddy and I within the next hour, had three hooked but not landed and several more bites. All happened trolling in about 15-20ft of water on Rapalas.

Spoke to several who were on shore, a couple of guys caught their limit on powerbait fishing the western shore of the marina.
