Here's a map of the places most commonly mentioned in reports on this site. There are some other places that will produce fish, but these are very accessible and have lots of fish. Don't forget to pay the entrance fee, unless you have an annual pass.
There is a channel that gets washed out where the concrete pipe brings water from Horseshoe Lake into Boyd lake. Lots of panfish accumulate in this channel in the winter. Lots of trout can be caught near the boat ramp. The far back corner of Heron cove has some sand/gravel flats with some week patches that perch like to hand out on, but you will catch fish further out and around the point on the north side of Heron cove, as well - it's the kind of place schools of perch like to hang out, and a few walleye like to brown there as well. The perch can pretty easily be caught on small jigs tipped with waxworms, hooked through the tail - same for bluegills by the inlet pipe. The stocker trout will also hit these, and lots of other things.
The weather is supposed to be warm today and tomorrow. I think the ice will hold up there through a few days of warmer weather, but you might want to drill a test hole off the end of the dock at the boat ramp, if you're not sure about the ice. I've seen people drill holes right by that dock, and fish from the dock during winter. Not sure if this is technically allowed, but it's sometimes done.
