FALL TRANSITION // WHATS BEEN WORKING FOR ME SO FAR (Western Colorado):

Been fishing a wide array of elevations lately from 6K - Near 11K for a wide variety of species. Happy to see the dropper hopper rig still working out for trout fishing at all elevations I've fished. Trout of all species and sizes have been going crazy for the Chernobyl ant on the top...Been going mostly 2 nymphs on rig...Scuds at high elevations are working great. I have no idea about chromamids and that hatch/life cycle but those have been getting big bites too and solid fish. Reportedly, wooly buggers are crushing it too, trying that next time.

Conventional Fishing has been great with small jerkbaits and crankbaits...2" Swimbaits have really started heating up as well for trout, walleye, and bass. Ned Rig has been AMAZING as well (that will be for another day/video)

Below is a video of us trout fishing using the above...Got my PB on the fly rod 2x in one day! Got some great drone shots too of the fall colors! Fall is going to be AWESOME for fishing this year! 🔥🔥🔥
