Went to Brush Hollow this am to see if we could catch any of them crappies from shore, 10 trout 2 bass and 1 sunfish later no crappies. We started on the north end but couldnt locate any fish, almost got the jeep stuck when it slid down a mud bank into the lake, that was a close one. Ended up on the the west side of the dam fishing off the cliff on the windy side. All fish came out of that little pocket, all fish released... 1 of the bass had to be 14.9 inches. :p Used a variety of curly tails caught most everything except 3 trout and the sunfish, those came on salmon eggs. Didnt get a water temp but it wasnt as cold as the last time I was up there so its warming up.... boat ramp is in the water so water level is a little higher then the last time I was there too, but not much.

You wont be able to keep them off your line down there once summer kicks in.

I've never been to Cherry creek but I am willing to bet its smaller especially with how low the water level is.
