Well for the second consecutive week I've been skunked! Got out on the lake around 6 AM and fished till about 11:30 not a single bite. I'm starting to think Colorado Bass are the most elusive creatures in America. I threw everything at them and I mean everything! Senkos,Spinners,Cranks,Jigs,Swimbaits,Texas Rig, drop shot. Moving here has not been kind to my bass fishing hobby! Other than that fishing the reservoir it's self was pretty nice, I could tell the water was down a bit but the spillway was running a steady stream of water in. Only a couple other boats out on the lake as well. So I guess my quest for bass will continue.

I'm confused! Let me quote your post. "I could tell the water was down a bit but the spillway was running a steady stream of water in". Are you talking dyslexia, of water flow?? Keep hitting it, this lake is a producer at high tide!

I meant the lake was down but there was water coming in through the spillway likely from the rain Friday. What part of the lake do you fish?

Yeah I know I'm not particularly in a bass state. I just moved here from Ohio, I've been trout fishing a few times here and have caught some decent trout but I've just always grown up bass fishing it's what I love. I worked all of Brush today in my boat and had no luck... It is the dog days of summer though so hopefully around fall it gets better. Appreciate the advice though.
