Went with high hopes of hungry walleyes but alas it was not to be. Gorgeous freekin day, prolly too nice. I got a 6" eye on a blade, Dropshot got a nice bass on a blade. Then we found some willing beasts. Well kinda willing, several were hooked near the mouth. LOL.
Carp were all either side of 10 lbs.

I got a huge carp earlier this week . Every time I got him anywhere near the boat he would take off again. Quite the workout.

A guy once told me-if carp could jump we wouldn't even be talking about bass.

So true !! Now, if they just tasted good..............
Interesting. I went after trout over here and I have never missed on this lake. Beautiful day. Not a ripple and blue skies and sunshine. One hit, hooked, then unhooked. Nothing else. I usually catch 6 to 12 and get at least that many hits that I don't hook. Whatever it was, looks like it was all over Colorado! Anybody else have bad luck on the 17th?
