I went to a seminar about 10 years ago and learned about Carter Lake fishing. At the time, the kokanee fishery was strong, and they were the food source for the walleyes. For both, the fishing was supposed to be best from a boat, 50-80 feet of depth. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the CPW is still stocking kokanees here. I see people fishing from shore, and never hear of any success.
