Hey all,

    I am looking to catch my first catfish this year.  I have been told that Cherry Creek and Bonny have some good ones.  Does anybody have some pointers on general areas.  Also, is it too cold to catch em still?  I don't want to KNOW where your bootprints are, but I hope to find em.  Any advice will help.  I am totally new to catfish and know very little.

Wow,
I appreciate the help guys. I was at the north side of Cherry Creek today, right next to the dam. Caught 3 trout, nothing special, but didn't get any hits on my stink bait. I think it's got to be too cold still. I tried some chicken liver last year, I honestly I never got it to stay on the hook. Does beef liver work, if you leave it out for a couple of days to rott?
