I headed out to Boedecker last night and got there at 11:00 pm. Fished on the north side about 500 yds from the boat ramp. I was using live Bluegill and carp as cut bait. Stayed until 6:00 am. Caught 6 fish ranging from 2 to 5 pounds. They were good fighters!

what size live gills did you use and did you score with them?

I used gills three to five inches. The cats went nucking futs over these. Half of them could not even get the gill completely in their mouth! I didn't catch a lot of fish like there used to be in there before the lake almost dried up. Now walleyes, perch, bass, white bass, and gills are fingerling size to about 5 inches. Cats seemed to make it alright with most being caught weighing around five pounds.
