Fished with a friend in an untried spot with no luck for two hours in the morning, and decided to head to an old faithful spot afterward, where in 45 minutes, my wife and I iced 4 macks and missed three bites in about 45 minutes starting at 11:30 am, before packing out gear and heading out. We were fishing in 50-55 FOW. Macks ranged from 15-19" A picture may follow later, if I have time.

Weather was beautiful - sunny and mild-moderate winds.

Once again, the fishfinder was great. Helped me figure out what I needed to do to draw the fish, then get them to bite. My wife had already caught two by the time I figured the fish out, though - she seems to have the Chambers Macks figured out pretty well.

Had snowshoes, so didn't care how deep the snow was, for the most part. It was about the same as it has been all season for snow - maybe 4-12" on top of the ice, depending on where you walk.
