Went to Chambers lake this weekend and the fishing was good. Between me and two other guys we took 7 bows home and 1 mack, but all together we caught about 24 fish. used white tube jigs chartrues tube jigs and little green and pink furry ice jigs tipped with red meal worms. we caught alot of fish between 10:00 and noon.

thanks we were fishing right off the bottom. the trout we would leave the jig in the whole and the mack was about 14-15 inches jigging the tube jig. wwe were over by the little house in the hill on the north east side of the lake. the water was about 20-22 feet deep.

Sounds like a fund day at Chambers!

Those depths are great for rainbows on smaller jigs at Chambers by January/February. The macks seem to move deeper as the winter progressive. By January, Chambers has been iced up for more than a month during most years.
