Went out to Chatfield around 5pm...warm but windy...fished the first few hours with bait...started chucking the preferred rainbow flavored Rapala in an 11 around 8pm and was rewarded with 4 walleyes...biggest was 20 inches and the smallest was 16...they must have been following it back to the shore because all hit right at my feet...one hit after I stopped it on the retrieve and it floated up to the top right at my feet like he was hitting a popper...stayed until 10:30...forgot my sweatpants to put over my shorts...brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...oh well...plus getting to be too old to walk those small rocks out there...the fire trucks having to rescue an old fat guy because he breaks his leg!...shoot the nag!!!

Hey Zman,

was this along the dam or where? Sounds like the post spawn bit might be starting to turn on?
