I just got back from Chatfield with my buddy Jeremy. We fished from 1:30-3:30PM, yes it was cold (temp wise and fishing wise). He caught one 18.5 incher and I caught one smaller one, that was it. One was caught on a lindy rigged leech, the other on a curly tail jig. Here's the pic of the one keeper sized fish(released):

Awsome Job Don and Jeremy! catching fish in this weather takes isn't easy.

Now that's a great job...we arent talking mamby pamby trout that put anything in their mouth to see if it is food...two eyes on consequitive days from well fed shad forage based fisheries in tough conditions today...great job...jealous I am...

Guess I should get off my arse and quit with the home improvement...

nice fish man. Im glad you let it loose so I can give 'er a try. lol At least someone is catching SOMETHING out of that god forsaken lake! Fish on.

At least we know now the leech bite is warming up. They made mention of that in another post
