Hit the water about 10:30 and went to the point near the handi-cap peer. There was nothing happening there, saw a bunch of guys working the road bed. Didn't see any fish come out of the water though so I decided not to waste my time and crowd in with the herd. I headed down to the south end where I have done pretty good before and sure enough I got into some eyes. I was using bottom bouncers with a crawler harness. It was one of those that look like an airplane propeller, chartreuce with silver prism wings. None of the eyes were keepers all were about the usual 16 to 17 inches. Just nice to finally get into some this year.
