Went out tonight from 6 to 9:30 PM. This was out first time out with a recently purchased used boat. Caught 2- 17" Walleyes draging leaches near the bottom and 1- 13" smallmouth casting a frog skitterpop at dusk. For the first time out, we (my son and I) were very happy with the results. We are 99% catch and release, so don't worry about the added pressure should we ever get good at this. Thanks to the forum for all the info and starting us off on the right foot!

Great day for you and your son! My kids and I were just so happy we got out boat...........Its a day to remember, I hope you took some pictures........

Nice job man.
I was there on wed. caught the big fat skunk. Sometimes you catch some and other times you end up like me out there (wishing i was catching'em).
