Chatfield today from 1p till 4p.  Fished the bridge, marked tons of fish.  no action for the first hour or so.  Storm rolled past to the north, sky got dark and the water rough.  Fish started biting. Catching on leeches fished off the bottom in about 18 feet of water.

I caught a couple of undersized walleye, my step son lost one, we drifted over about 30 feet of water, just as I was getting ready to move back to the shallower water Eliott told "hold on something is playing with my line".  I thought he was just feeling the bottom.  I was wrong!  He caught the first bigger than 18 walleye we had all year.  A little skinny but still bigger than 18!

The weather cleared up and the wind stopped blowing and it got hot again.  The fish stopped biting. :-\

All in all a nice afternoon on the lake.

Weather-Mostly cloudy with an hour of dark skies and choppy water, then mostly cloudy.
Wind-Light to start, then blowing hard enough to drag anchored boat 1.8 mph then light again.
Clarity 5-6 feet
Water Temp 69-70
