·Fished Chatfield with a couple of friends between 5:00 and 9:00. Water temp was between 48 and 68 (tried fishing up the inlet). All three of us got skunked. We tried spoons, crawler harnesses, gulp minnows, leeches, and minnows. Fished the inlet, dragged crawler harnesses through the wakeless area, fished the East corner of the dam. Was a beautiful evening with a terrific sunset.
Water level is really receded and is looking like it did 2 years ago. As an FYI - if you're in a boat, be cautious as we found a lot of unmarked obstacles - about an 18" wide stump that would gash your boat/ ruin your prop in the wakeless area, and noticed a couple of other stick ups that could do some damage.
