got to the dog ponds around 6, fished with a shad on the bottom (dont know if theres cats in thurr) and a tube jig, got a hit on the shad but reacted too slow

as the sun was setting, i got a 12 inch bass on the tube, then i tied on a tiny matzuo blue thing with a a single treble, got a small crappie and then on another cst got a nice bass as soon as it hit the water

fun night, 2 hours of fishing, 3 fish, it was fun

several more yanks on the shad, wonder what it was?

quincy tomorrow early

the dog ponds are behind the dam in chatfield, coming from the wadsworth entracne, tkae aleft at the stop sign and keep going over the dam, second parking lot on the left, there a re a few ponds, all have fish

i have a little area there i fish where the dogs arent bad, kinda a skiiny section of one of the ponds, if you keep your stuff together and dont get mad at the occasional dog sniffing you and your gear, it's not too bad, as long as you respect them they are usually nice to you, and if anybody ever gives you crap about fishing there, ask them if they can read and show them the sign that says "respect other activities and fisherman" or something like that, it at he trail by the parking lot

i fish down there a fair amount. I train my dog a lot down there i found the biggest problem is that however smart my dog is, not many others are very smart. I always throw a bobber out and can't help but catch Crappie. Fun little place, little hint. Most of the people clear out around the time the sun starts to set. Good luck

yes the dogs go in the water, but most considerate p[eople try to keep their dogs away from u, i fish a little long cove that comes out of the main part f the lake so i can keep away from most of the traffic
