I want to go so bad but still have some work to do on the boat. I hope to be out there Saturday, next week.

The only thing bad about having an inboard is I hate to winterize it again. But just wait the first of April when the Marina opens the boat will be in there for the rest of the summer and you cna find me there just about every evening and every weekend.

So how was the fishing?

I talked to some guy at the expo today and he said they caught about 40 w/ 6 keepers using spoons.

Anyone have a first hand report?

Well I went out with the wife and one of the kids, I got skunked. I did meet Slayerfish and he told me that he caught a few walleyes and showed me a nice trout they were keeping.

The water is up about 5 feet from last fall and the temp is 39-40 degrees at the surface.

It was a great time on the water even though we did not catch anything.
