Chris and I had a chance to fish Chatfield this a.m. The bite was good early in the morning and we landed five walleyes, bottom bouncing and drifting with the wind. Things came to a screeching halt once the light winds died and the sun came up. They weren't too choosy this a.m.. We picked them up on blue and white sassy shad, brown and yellow tailed curly grub, and white curly tailed grubs tipped with minnows, but if I had to go with one color it would be the white curly tail.
