Been out quite a few times. The fish are active, obviously better once the sun starts to set. One thing I noticed is how skinny the fish are. I haven't caught anything over 18, so no keepers, but a few in that 17 1/2 or so range, and all very skinny. A guy in another boat said it was because of the shad spawn last year...that it was a bad year. He didn't know why. Anyone else hear anything about that?

Thanks for the report .

I think they are starving themselves so the don’t reach the 18” mark.
