6/7 went to chatfield this morning fished from 5.30am to 9.30 am caught i walleye 17.5 had a few light hits but that was it fished by the handicap pier using night crawlers on the bottom

This is my first time posting, though I've been reading you guys for a couple of months. Have enjoyed it, so now's my turn to add to the mix. If I made a mistake by doing a reply instead of a new post, my apologies and please let me know. Went to Chatfield last night, got on the water about 6 pm. Was still pretty windy, tried the weeds and shore line at Massey first, got 3 smallies on a Jointed ShadRap, biggest was about 13 inches. Then went over to the submerged road by 7:30, tried bottom bouncing a leech on a spinner rig. Caught walleye right off, boated 7 by 8:30, then it slowed way down and called it a night. Biggest 'eye was 17", most were 15" to 16".

Welcome to the board and thanks for the report! sounds about typical for Chatfield lately...some smallies and some almost keeper walleyes...still a good day of fishing though, keep it up

Thanks for the welcome, and you're right - it was a good night fishing. I sure needed the stress relief.
