Don't forget Chatfield is a flood control dam first and recreation comes later. They are keeping water to prevent worse flooding on the Platte downstream.

If the water gets up to the restrooms that will be a great place to nab some big browns! ::)

Bear Creek is near where I live and driving by there today, it looks almost as full as the September floods.

Not sure how this will impact the fishing at BC..

Still managed 4 today out of the "muck' that is....
Lots of BIG TIMBER floating around out there...
Down to ONE boat ramp and dock this morn....
They are doing a REALLY GREAT job re-opening all the North Docks, however.
Looks like both North ramps and docks 'might" be open Weds. morn.
Slimers are REALLY active on the flooded swim beach area... :'(

My II Cents

Lots of big timbers.
This is not a remote lake that gets little use.
I think they could use some of our fee, tax, etc money and clean it up.
Safety issue?

Sorry dun now.
