Hit up Chatty with a large crew yesterday. It was really slow! We marked a bunch of fish, but they were super tight lipped. Our group ended up with a couple walleyes and trout. Crazy not to see more action on a dead stuck live minnow! Kastys, jigging raps, rippin raps, tungsten jigs and others were dropped down. Lots of others icing the lake. Ice where we were was a solid 6-7 inches.

Same story on all the front range lakes. I think all of the fish are wearing masks and can't bite. Gubmint conspiracy.

Fished the open water for about 4 hours and only had 2 bites. Both on nightcrawlers. Tried below the dam also. No bites.

Plenty of fish in Chatfield. Just see so many lures and jigs and lines they are weary. The best place to fish with most action is near the damn and towards the east side of the lake but ice isn't as good.

Fished Chatty for many years made about 15 trip past year, barly caught one fish a trip. Not many on finder in Nov trip. As many people that fish that lake you think they would stock it better.

They did last year with a couple thousand crappy slimers. There catoring to the billion bank fisherman over booking the park for money. Raising all the fees isn't enough.
