Despite many warnings I hit CC this morning, Great weather. Water tmps were 62-64. Lake should be turning soon. Saw alot of dead plants in the water. Marked LOTS of fishing on sonar but got nothing. Pulled cranks and spoons at all depths. Even used leadcore with no luck.

Maybe one day it will once again be a good fisherie but for now IT SUCKS.

Jay-If the lake is experiencing turnover (and from the water temps and stuff floating I am guessing it is) you want to fish shallow as these areas will be least affected by the turnover event. Also, any areas with current will mitigate the event. I know you will probably not be back to CC anytime soon but this is something to keep in mind on other lakes this time of year.
