Took the boat to Cherry Creek today. Got on the water about 8am and putzed around trying to find fish on the finder. I was hoping the walleye would be somewhat active but no luck. We spent most of the day trolling along the dam in 15-20 FOW had a couple hits and one bow got off 3 feet away from the boat. I ended up with one 20" bow and my buddy snagged a dumb shad in the belly. Thinking about trying Aurora tomorrow if the weather is somewhat decent.

Nice fish. This is why I refuse to quit on CC. There are some big-ass fish in there just waiting.

I will just add to this one...I was out at Cherry Creek last night from 5pm to 8pm...no luck...water temp was a chilly 41...not going to get warm enough out there prior to the nets going in...

I was also there on Friday morning, from about 9-12. Fishing from the shore. Pulled in a couple of trout, but all were small.
