I am thinking about hitting Cherry Chreek early in the morning tommorow. In the past I have only fished a couple of times from the shore for trout. Does anyone have any tips for catching Walleye's at Cherry Creek.

I will be in my pontoon boat with a trolling motor so I will only be able to cover limited amount of water. Is there a general area I should concentrate on? How deep should I be fishing?

Any help before I leave would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Michael

The west end of the dam, (just to the east of the Marina) is where I would try. I'd fish the bottom with leeches, crawlers, or jigs. Lindy rigs or trolling bottom bouncers might work. Good Luck and let us know how you did.
