Does anyone have a digital map of Cherry Creek?  I'm looking for either a depth map or any other type of map that would help a newcomer find some good spots to hit this weekend.

I was out on saturday, near the Colorado Rowing club's shelters, but no mater how hard I tried could not cast any deeper than 4-5 feet.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other spots that may be better for shore fishing at Cherry Creek?

You can pick up a marine map of the lake at most boat shops, valentine marine on so. federal has them for 5.95 for most all big lakes in CO. there called "Underwater Topography Maps and Charts" and come from the company , http://www.fishnmap.com/

The map shows all depths and stucture on the lakes !

Your shore fishing in the wrong spot, go to the other side of the point. Fish the west side of the point near the rowboat house. Big trout!

There are a lot of people who fish by the tower next to the dam. The
fishnmap charts are usually very good. Sportsman's and Gart Sports
have a 40 page book of some of the most popular Colorado and Wyoming
lakes with lots of information about depths. etc. Some even give specific
fishing techniques and locations for catching certain species of fish.
