Any one going out to the creek tonight? I just got back i went in the belly boat for 2 hours didnt catch a thing. Had one small nibble on my jig maybe it was a crappie. Going to try again around 930pm on shore.

I was there last Sunday 8am to 11am on the west side of dam. Bottom fishing with crawler and crawdad. Got a hit on the rod with crawdad and it pulled my rod in the water and head off the dam. My 12 lbs line was broken after couple seconds fight. 30 min later, another big hit on the crawler, was able to fight with it for about 10 min and landed a 28 in carp on that 8 lbs line. Did not get a chance to see that eacaped, so do not know it is a wiper or carp but it was speedier than the one landed.
