Was out again last night. In two hours I caught one 2lb Channel and a 16" Walleye. Both hit a 4" Storm swim Shad. I wish I lived a little closer to Chatfield I just can't seem to figure this lake out?

I'll be out there (CC) with my boy on Sunday. We have the CWA Icebreaker there this year and I have not stepped foot nor prop near that lake in about 8 years.

I'll see you out there too on Sunday. I'm just heading out for some crappie if they are hitting. If they aren't, I'll help you hunt the eyes down.

I'll be fishing the CWA Icebreaker tournament as well dkooser. It should be interesting, those fish have a lot of shad to feed on and could be tough to catch. My guess is that 3 fish over 18 will win that tournament unless somebody gets one of the real pigs that are out there. I'm looking forward to it though, I've fished Cherry Creek a lot over the past few years. I'll see you out there!
