Hello,

Spent yesterday morning at clear creek chasing browns. Had a great morning and ended with about 10-15 nice browns. Everyone was using nymphs, so I decided to switch it up and use a streamer. Some would hit it hard and some just taking it very light. The water was low and I had to search a little away from the crowds to find some fish willing to bite. I fished from about 9-11ish and then had lunch stream side. All in all a great day to get out

Here is a short (2 min) video of the only rainbow I caught and the best brown of the day. Enjoy : )

Something that bothered me was when I 1st got there I saw a guide with 2 client in a hole full of browns (spawning). He was teaching them how to snag the fish. I understand that he needs to get them into fish but teaching them to snag really pissed me off and to be a guide for that matter. I would think they would live by higher standards.

On a side note, I did see other guides with clients that were teaching them the proper way to fly fish and made me feel better.

Nice job catching fish. IMO that creek from the falls to the inlet needs to be closed for fishing to give those browns a fighting chance to improve the fishing in that lake. too many arseholes there... the south end of the lake is better fishing anyways. That's all I'll really say about it... kind of a sore spot for me.
