I took off work early on Friday and convinced the old man to head up to Clear Creek in the afternoon for an hour or two. The wind was blowing a bit (seems like it never stops lately), but calmed down considerably while we were out on the creek. I started to see them rise immediately in the shade about 1-2 feet off the bank. Blue Wing Olives were the trick. We only fished for an hour but caught 7 little dandies. Was a good time and the fish seem to be getting a bit more active.

Way to give up the honey hole except for lots of things:

1. Good job.
2. Need to know not only what you're doing but make the effort.
3. Guts to fish that stretch.
4. How to throw in the wind.
5. Hole's safe cause alot of us, me included wouldn't have a clue.

Nice post.
