I'm thinking of hitting Clear on Saturday am. Any suggestions for locations and flies. I am going to hit it before going to work in Gilpin County at 11 am so I am interested anywhere from Golden to Georgetown.

Dan, fish it above Idaho Springs. There is not as many fish below Idaho Springs because of the heavy metals in the water due to the mining. I would use a nymph pattern such a Bead Head Pheasant Tail #14 or smaller combined with maybe a size 18 midge pattern as a dropper. If its running clear you should do pretty good. I have in the past.
