I went up to Clear Creek this morning from 10:00am to 11:15am. A warm wind was blowing very hard down slope. Most of the creek is solid ice, but a few areas of open water. Using a two fly nymph rig I landed a scrawny male brown, about 9 ½ inches long. First fish of the year!
