for those who's feet get cold fast on the ice here is an ideal cure. I've been using something like these for years and they have helped a bunch. Use them as a liner sock like a glove liner. They also have the glove liners to match from the same material which I have used.

Heatholder socks...warmest socks I have worn...amazing loft that doesnt smash down...crazy wicking ability...can put them on with wet feet out of the lake or shower and they slide right on an wick up the moisture...some outstanding synthetic blend...

TNG76...they also work great for in pop up ice shelters with heaters so you dont have to kneel in water or slush...have a cut down one that is in the bottom of my ice sled...i cut off the interlocking tabs your line can get caught on them...

No. Alcohol cools the body by causing blood to flow to the capillaries near the skin. Best way to commit suicide is to sit in the cold and drink alcohol. You'll wake up dead quickly-

There ain't nothin wrong with sitting on the ice sippin some schnaps! unless of course, you are an alcoholic or a recovering/recovered alcoholic. God bless all who are plagued by the terrible disease. And congrats to all who have beat it.
